beautiful Open Field on a Private farm
Engagement session
I'm so excited for Sabrina and Todd! Here are some sneak peeks from their engagement session on a very pretty and overcast day.
I don't normally get to do many engagements shoots because wedding photographers usually cover them. I was happy to be able to do this for them because it's one of my favorite type of sessions to do!
I loved her dress; I think the material was perfect and she looked gorgeous! Whenever a client wears something they feel comfortable in for pictures, the confidence shows through the image.
They chose a beautiful location owned by their neighbor with wide open fields and a little farm. An open field is one of my favorite types of locations because my clients can move around freely without the usual obstacles of other people or tricky landscapes you could see in a park setting, for example. I especially loved the tall grass!
They told me they have never had professional photos done together. I feel like a lot of people I photograph have told me similar, so they don't necessarily know what to do. As a photographer, it's my job to give direction and to make them feel comfortable. And I think they did fantastic! They warmed up so quickly, and the way they look at each other is evident of their love.
This was definitely a memorable engagement session for me!
